I just bought a 96 Outback with 230,000 miles. Still runs stronge. Bought from a dealer that specilizes in Subaru's.

I was searching the web for up grade parts for the car but cannot seem to find any performance parts for it. Can someone point me in the right direction. Also somewhere to go and read of simple mods to do.

What motor? 2.2 or 2.5?

"1996 with 230K and still going stong." HAHAHA I have a 90 legacy wagon with 238.5K and it's like the gravatron.....with the loud music. Play catch up..start driving.

Sorry, forgot to say. It is the 2.2 with a 5 speed.
