Questions about replacing rear shocks/struts

Featured Replies

With 235k miles on the '97 OBW it's time to replace the rear shocks (or is it struts?). Is this an easy DIY bolt up project or do I need a spring compressor? I'm fairly handy but don't tackle the bigger jobs. What kind of prices can I expect from a dealer or local shop to have them do this? Is this easy enough to have Midas or Sears do it without getting ripped off? Love this board.

thanks all,
