wanted to try the FWD fuse to check the transfer clutch, and couldn't find anywhere that said which fuse to put in? what type of fuse do i use? also to change the differential (front) in my '98 legacy outback do i need to change the whole transmission?

You need a 15amp fuse like you find in your fusebox under the dash.

To change the differential or the fluid in the differential?

i believe the front diff is bad. it was run with no fluid for a time. i need to swap out the differential, but do i need to swap out the whole tranny?
