91 subaru justyfi 4wd. idles fine, revs fine but when its in gear it dies between 2000 and 4000rpm. any ideas? it pulls a code 13 but i have checked the wires from the distributor to the comp.

Check your coil and all your wires. Most often with this problem we find the coil has a very weak spark, or one of your wires is grouding out somewhere.
