cv shaft repair 97 leggy l wagon

Featured Replies

just had the drivers side cv done. the car now shakes and the sterring wheel vibrates (ocillates?)almost almost to the point of being wretched out of my hands!! it did not do this before the work was done. any ideas what to tell the mech. other than "FIX THIS #@|!!* THING"?

thanx

A lot of the c.v. shafts are rebuild, maybe it has been bent before or after the repair. Could also be as simple as a weight knocked off of the wheel during the repair. Put your spare on if that dont fix it take it back. it would be a good ideal to look and make sure they tighten the nut on the end of shaft their in the center of the hub, also look under the car and make sure ever thing looks together under their.
