I have a 98 forester hit in rt ft corner,I couldn't pass it up.body work is going good but my problem is the flashers come on as soon as I conect the battery.I've checked the wires for shorts in the front,pulled the flashers units under dash,heard the computer box ticking.any one have ideas about this I would sure appreicate the help,thanx

This may be caused by the alarm system needing to be reset. This can happen when the battery power is removed. I would try resetting the system after power is restored.

I know this might be too simple but check the parking light " P " switch on top of the steering column. It can get bumped during repairs and not noticed by most body shops.
