I lost my lights because (i think) the main switch is called the combination switch ... well i picked one up for my 1984 subaru GL and I am trying to replace it... any onbe do this that can give my a little assistance?

You have to rmove the cluster cover. There are three hidden screws. One behind the vent on the left end and two under the small vertical cover on the right hand edge. The switch is attached to this cover.
