mountainbikeak
My car died on my early today, I found out that my rotor came loose and the screw was laying on the top of the distributor. I found out that that the threads were stripped on the distributor. I have other problems with timing as well which I will fix soon but can't really do much if my rotor will not stay on. I have a 91' loyale 1.8 175000 miles... Can i change out the brass spindle the rotor lays on? that seems more economical than changing the distributor itself... ? WJM
there is no easy answer to that....best thing to do would be take the dizzy out and tap the threads on the shaft...
