EA82 parts cross-refference.

Featured Replies

Can we start a thread that describes parts from other makes and models that will fit on a EA82 body Subaru, or even ON a EA82(T).

I'd like to know what suspension components people have used to upgrade their EA82's. I read that Honda has struts that work. Also, what about these Nissan rear calipers that are supposed to fit and have e-brake function?

Anything else we can snag from other makes to help our EA82's out alittle?

Seriously though, there are a few different options for suspension, depending on your needs. The honda thing you refer to is the front springs from a late 80s accord.. They are a direct fit for the rear springs on an EA82. . I imagine the spring rate is higher, but the drawback (for me at least ) is that they raise the car somewhat)

For lowering/stiffening, there are adjustable coilovers.. there are a few people that have them, but no 2 people are using the same set, so its still a little hit and miss. Brad is using springs intended for a VW, Tex has them for a Legacy. Mine are intended for a WRX. I don't know about tex's, but mine and brad's both involve a little grinding to fit on the front.

Will post more later...
