G'day - I've just purchased a new Forester (great machine!) and am planning to write an interface between a laptop database and the odometer to track trip distances and fuel rates automatically. Two main questions - where's the port located and where can I find the programming interface to interpret the data?

The OBDII connector may be above the drivers foot area, if that's what your looking for.
