Hey out there, i'm considering the purchase of a 88 4wd gl wagon with 197k miles. Seems to be in decent shape. Runs ok. Does this vehicle have rear disc brakes and if not will a 87 gl10 interchange? Is there anything to be aware of before i purchase this vehicle. I can obtain it for 700.00. Thanks for any feedback.

that car has drum brakes on the rear, you should be able to do a search for rear brake swap, or something similar and find some information about that.

is it manual or auto tranny? even tho its only 700, id still have a competent mechanic look it over to make sure its not in need of anything too major in the near future. 25 bucks on a mechanic could keep the 700 wagon from becoming the 3000 wagon. Oh, and find out when the timing belts were last replaced also. good luck..
