will a 5 speed out of an 84 GL wagon bolt into my 82 brat 4 speed?

well if it's a 5-speed from an 84 it would be a 2wd transmission. The swap could be done but you probably want to keep the 4wd so you'll need to find a 4wd transmission from an 81-84.
