does anyone have any pics or diagrams of the back up light switch where its bolts in the the tranny? i have one wire one it and the other is just hanging there. i know where the switch is i can see it i just can't quite find where the other wire hooks in, any helpo would be greatly apreciated.

I'm pretty sure its the same kind of setup on the brake light system. somewhere in the shift linkage there should be a push button switch type thing that when you put it in reverse, the linkage pushes on the push button, turning the lights on

It should be on the transmission on one side near the rear of it. What tranny is it?

the tranny is on my xt turbo, ea 82t tranny. only one of the wires in the wire set has rusted or was broken at the switch, i just need a rough diagram on how the switch is, it looks a little funny when i have to pull my car onto a curb to see it. i will jack it up and fix it when i can see what i need to do to it.
