I have already flushed, changed the screen, and cleaned the pan on the 4EAT on my '98 Legacy L Wagon with EJ22 a couple of times. It is shifting weird again with 140k on the clock and I just want to drain what is in the tranny and refill. How much does the 4EAT usualy take doing it this way?

On a '91 it was just about 5 quarts. Did some jacking up and rocking to get that much. Measure what you drain out and replace, then check the dipstick to make sure.

Only got 3 1/2 to 4 qts out of mine, after a hour drain time?
