  1. I am tried of treeking all the way to the stealership to get the factory drain plug crush washer. Everytime I need to change the oil. Has anyone found an alternative to OEM drain plug crush washer?
  2. I can not find the sunroof fuse anywhere in the fuse blocks. Manual does not mention it, not listed on covers for fuse boxes under hood or in lower drivers dash?
  3. The car has been siting 6 months. Worked well last summer. However now it seems to click for a second but does not budge. Will not vent either? Any advice?
  4. I can get a set if 16" alloys off a '06 Imprezza cheap. Will they fit on a 2003 Legacy GT. Bolt pattern is 5x100 on both, off set both 48mm. Only difference is Legacy backspacing 6.14 " and Imprezza is 5.87 "
  5. My '03 Legacy GT sedan has it brake dash light come on whenever the temp is below 30 degrees. Brake fluid is clear, and in between the max and min Mark. Brakes well, no ABS light. It goes out after 7 min of driving. Sometimes comes back on if hard braking.
  6. I can get a set of steel 16" Subaru Outback wheels of a 2010 with a nice set of Mich. 225/60R16 pn them. Will they fit under my '03 Legacy GT sedan with 205/55R16's as winter wheels?
  7. I livein New Hampshire so they will be rusty. I got MOOG problem solvers, thought that there were a good brand, worked wonders on my Honda front ends.
  8. Ok just had state inspection done, it passed with 130k however tech said rear sway bar end links have lots of play. Got replacement greeseable end links. How hard of a job is the replacement? Is this a common issue on Roots.
  9. It does not do it if I use the manual mode the GT has or 3 in the selector. So the tranny is trying to go into OD/4th to early all the time.
  10. I drained the pan, removed the spin on filter and got another 2 qt.s out. Replaced the spin on filter with a genuine Subaru ATF filter, refilled with fresh fluid and still having the shifting issue. Anyone ever used Lube Guard in our transmissions? I am not a big believer in additives. But OE manufactures approve of this one, and my local tranny rebuild shop uses it.

  12. Ok will swaping the front forthe rear work? Or are both heated? Anyoneget the universal Denso that is a third of the price and wire in the connector them selves?
  13. Just started throwing code yesterday. Shortly after startup. Reset with Torque app. Stays off during drive, however after cold start comes back. Youfolks think heater circut culprit then?

  15. Ok my '03 just tripped thatcode with118k on the clock. What is the froum recommend replacement Bosch, Denso, etc.?
  16. Always NGKs in Japanese cars. Copper because of performance benefits, I would think since replacing tem is such a task. Something like Iridium's with a longer service life would be worth it?
  17. 86 Bratman you are correct just pulled out manual all are copper NGK's or a copper Champion? Would Iridium be worth the money to put in?
  18. Nipper, thanks for the insight. I will get the OE ones. Also I bought replacement Import Direct wires from O,Riley's. PCV was cleaned out recently.
  19. I got the Fel-Pro full valve cover gasket kit. Going to put it in why I have access to a lift. guessing it will be easy on the lift.
  20. I am going to replace the valve cover gaskets on my '03 Legacy with 110k on the clock, oil is leaking into spark plug holes. Might as well put new plugs and wires in while I am in there. Are NGK double Platinum factory. Cause I kind of remember NGK copper being in there factory? Been LONG time since had factory plugs in it. Also should I get good after market wires or stck with OEM?
  21. I am going to try draining and refilling the ATF again with a Subaru tranny filter.
