I traded my 95 Legacy Wagon for a 95 Subaru Impreza L. The Impreza has 71,000 miles which is half of what my legacy has. Anything I should be looking for? It has the reliable 2.2 litre in it and a 5 speed. I paid top book price for it which is not to cool but I've always wanted one of these. Thanks.

Timing belt every 65,000 miles (or when needed...just keep an eye on it after 100,000 miles)

It will leak oil eventully. Oil pump seal cam seal are common. Keep oil in it, don't beat it to hard...and it will last a long long time.

PS. How much did you pay? $4,500?

Yep, it's time for a timing belt if it hasn't been done before.

Mine is on its first belt at 109,000 miles. It will be getting it done in the next month or so. My 95 Legacy went almost 190,000 miles.

I really don't have an excuse for going that long...it is only like $275 from the dealer here.

I paid $4871 for the car. I bought it from a dealer so that's why. I seen it a few years back and it had 52000 miles on it and they only wanted $3500 for it! Wish I would of bought it then. I've always wanted one of these. Hopefully it will last longer than my loan term! Thanks for the input.
