We're looking for a set of syncros for a 1984 Brat 4 speed Dual Range transmission. They're not available in the country anywhere (According to all 4 of my local dealers). Can anyone recommend somewhere to get them? My dad has a little bit of old parts lying around from back in his dealer days, but nothing that I need. If someone could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

Try 1stsubaruparts.Synchro Parts are still available according to thier online catalog.Blocker rings $28,sleeve $61,hub $81.They might have to get them from Japan though.

Why not simply find another tranny in the junkyard? Manual trannys are not prone to failure (compaired to autos), so you should be able to get a good one cheap and just drop it in. Or convert to 5-speed 4WD.
