one thing I remember about growing up watching rally was the unbleivable sound of those cars. one of the most pleasant sounds I've ever heard, what kind of exhaust would I need to make an ea81 sound like a late 60s early 70s rally car?

just a straight pipe will take car of the exhaust portion...but a big part of the "rally car sound" from the 60's and 70's is the carbs...they all run webbers and stuff....

they also run some mad overlap on the cam, which gives them the destinctive burble.
