Update on my engine swap.

 

Original engine: 1.8 SPFI w/ manual trans

 

New engine: 1.8 MPFI w/ automatic trans. Pulling the wiring harness and computer. Keeping the manual trans.

 

Question: Is there any difference in the wiring harness / computer signals of the automatic that could be a problem with my manual trans configuration? Is this MPFI computer expecting special signals from the automatic trans?

 

Otherwise the extraction is going smoothly; ready to hoist the engine tomorrow.
