The thing I'm thinking about is if there stronger/better/comp ratio than the EA82 pistons, I would swap them into a EA82 block to pick up some HP. svxpert Posted August 25, 2003 Author Share Posted August 25, 2003 You mention the EA series bore is 92mm, I see the EJ22 and the EG33(SVX) bore are 97mm. I see a difference of 5mm. Am I dreaming or is it possible to bore out the 5mm to fit a better/stronger piston? Am I just nuts to think of this? Thanks for the responses in adance. Now EJ20 pistons may be close enough and yes there are non-turbo EJ20s out there, just not in the US. Also the wrist pin on EJ engines might be bigger.
