FWIW, my wife's 99 legacy is having this issue occasionaly, Like yesterday, the right rear was almost flat. No nails or visible signs of puncture. I re-filled it and it seems to be holding. Early last month here right front did the same thing. I'm suspecting a rapid temperature drop as causing the tire to contract away from the bead.

Once I had a flat as a result of checking the pressure one afternoon. By nightfall it was flat, but it was only dirt in the valve stem.
