January 31, 200521 yr Does anyone know/remember the drive line length for a 84 hatch 5 speed 4wd d/r conversion. I have the wagon drive line can this work if I just use one section of it? Or does it have to be made custom for each car? I could not find anything specific about this in the archives. thanks LT
February 1, 200521 yr a hatchback will need a custom driveline made since it has a shorter wheelbase.
February 1, 200521 yr I have one for a hatchback. I had it in mine before it retired. It was built by Drivelines NW. Fully servicable u-joints and completely balanced. All you need is to make a center mount for the carrier bearing. Contact me if interested @ Qman4x4@direcway.com
February 1, 200521 yr Hey LT This is Jerry, for the hatch back drive line for the 5 speed set up is 48 inches of new tubing. For the wagon and brat it is 51 inches of new tubing. Thanks Jerry
