February 1, 200521 yr I am going to need a MAF, and all piping between it and the turbo for my 89 GL-10 turbo. What are my options??? I read thru the past posts concerning a swap with an 86 and older, and the fuel cut posts hoping to find a sure thing but it all just confused the crap out of me! What is MS+DIS????? Anyway, I need a MAF, any help would be appreciated.
February 1, 200521 yr ive got two good MAFs and pipes. you cant use the 86-85 stuff....you'd have to rewire the whole engine stuff basically. MSDIS is a full standalone engine management system, and is not for the the weakly mechanically inclined.
February 1, 200521 yr Don't feel bad. I haven't been able to find anything that will work except MegaSquirt and the HKS VPC(Vane Pressure Converter), and they get rid of the MAF all together.
