In general, if one buys a lift kit from whomever, do they come with decent instructions or is it kind of assumed you know what you're doing or should't be doing it? I'd reallym like to lift my 91 Legacy once I get settled in a new place down south, and have no doubt I could handle the wrenching itself(I have good help semi-available too!), IF, I had decent instructions on how to go about it.

PK has been working on one for a while now, and the Aussies have had it for years. I don't know if it's in production here yet.

 

When I installed the kit in my 86 wagon, the instructions were straightforward but rather minimalistic. You do need a basic understanding of your vehicle but by no means do you need to be a factory-trained Subaru expert. With the assistance of the board, there shouldn't be any problems that you can't overcome.

now THAT'S a good one! guys at my local dealership don't even know what an ej22 is!

I have been looking for a lift for my 90 wagon for a while. I know they are hybrids floating around but they are not cheap and it wil cost you the same amount to ship it as it cost for the actual kit. I paid $1,200 to lift my jeep but the shipping was free. It would have cost me an arm and a leg. Bad enough I paid that much...well I did get 6.5 inches out of it and it was complete.
