I can get a hold of a header for my EJ18 for pretty cheap. Do you guys think it's worth it? I know the best way to get more power out of my 1.8 is to do the EJ20G swap but maybe in the future. If I get this header I would mate it with new exhaust (cat back) What do you think?

It just isn't worth it, with the WRX engine being so widely available and at very reasonable prices it makes much more sense to put that money in a jar toward the swap cost.

Any recommendations as far as a place to purchase an engine? I know on flashoptions.com you can get the 96 turbo Impreza engine (EJ20G ?) for $1500.00. This seems reasonable. After looking around this site $3000.00 +/- can get an engine and also have it installed. I'm in no hurry since my EJ18 has only 73000 on the odometer (1995). What do you think. I would love to do this to this car because it sounds like it can be insanely quick with this motor (from what I have heard) I would also pay the right person to put it in for me.
