Hunting down causes for CEL's would be a lot easier if I knew what conditions from sensors caused the CEL. (Thankyou Mr. Obvious)

 

Are there any diagrams / algorithms that a dealership or SOA have that show what the ECU checks each time at startup for CEL's?
