wierd light problem with xt

Featured Replies

i was going to a dance, turned my car off and everything. i got bored with the dance and started my car up to leave. i started the car up and went to turn on the lights. as i hit the switch the back light on my dash went out and my head light and parking light wouldn't come on. i kept trying to get them on with nothing. i checked all the fuses and fusible links and everything looked good. i turned on the switch killed the motor then turned the motor back on and then my light and everything came on like normal. where do i need to check so that doesn't happen again? icon_evil.gif

its the wiring under the dash, check all the connectors and then zip tie the heckj out off the wiring untill nothing hangs down and everything is secured, this is the only thing that i have that works, otherwise its about chasing down the chafed wires in the harness, usually on the column side of all the connectors, i have delt with this problem on every xt i have had
