I don't do much off roading, just enough to get to transmitter sites. The polyethelene "cover" under my 2000 Forester is a joke. Does anyone know of a bolt-on steel pan for this Subaru?

I checked with the parts rep at Subaru of Dallas, and they have skid plates available for the Impreza. However, the company that makes the skid plates can customize one for the Forester. Or, if you're good with metal work, obtain some thick steel, make the measurements, take an acetylene torch or plasma cutter to it, and voila!

I believe these guys have them...But shipping would kill you.

I think you'd be better off making one...or check with a local 4wd fabshop and they could make you one...
