Dashboard Light are out, please help

Featured Replies

I bought a 2002 Outback Legacy, a couple of months ago. It has been a great car with the exception of the O2 sensor issue. My dashboard lights cut out on me the other night, I checked all the fuses and none were blown, so Im thinking that it is a bulb. Does anyone know what else this may be.

Thanks

Toph

Are the other interior lights working? Make sure they are not turned all the way down. It could be one of the plugs on the back have come off, if the other interior lights are working (AC Panel, Radio). Easy to check, pull the trim, lower the steering wheel all the way and remove the 4 screws. Slowly pull it forward until you can pull the connetors.

Its highly unlikely that all the bulbs went at once.

if ALL of the dash lights are out

did you touch the dimmer switch and accidently dim them and not know it?

if i remember correctly the dimmer switch for the 02 is right next to the headlight switch on the steering wheel stalk.

that could be your issue.
