Well if we are gonna wheel down near Carson it would make sence to meet up there... like the Costco or Best Buy parking lot?

 

Well, if y'all want to wheel around Carson, we could meet somewhere in the middle of town, Cosco/Bestbuy would be kind of out of the way. I'm thinking the Sonic Drive-in on College Parkway (nxt to the CC Airport) would be a good central place to meet. Of course, if you're thinking Jumbo Grade, we could meet at the 7-Eleven on Eastlake in downtown New Washoe City.

Either one of those places sounds good. I've never been to Jumbo Grade maybe we should try that. We had good luck with "Doyale Grade" and Jumbo sounds even better!

Yeah, Doyle is a great place to go, wish we could get farther back than we did, up into the higher elevation forests.

Washoe city, so probably I80. Turn left at the crest of the hill before you get to the candy place, and the 7-11 is up a ways on the right.

To get to New Washoe City, from 395 (From either direction,Reno or Carson) take the "Eastlake Rd." (Dr., Blvd., whatever) turnoff. follow it to the 7-Eleven..can't miss it, there's a feed store, a bar, an old gas station, and of course the 7-11..that's downtown:lol: .

I'd like to meet a little earlier as well, I have some homework to do later in the afternoon, so I want a full day of wheelin in before I have to quit. Maybe 10 or so.

yeah 10 works. I said noon because Brain has the longest drive and he never seems to wake up early!

There is no exit number.. Its just EastLake Rd. I searched through the 7-11 web site and they don't list the store out there... so maybe its not there anymore. But I'm sure the building is still there.

Hmm..I just got the addy out of the latest phone book, but it's possible 7-11 has moved out since it was published. That's the place, tho..can't miss it, I believe there are gas pumps there, too.

 

Might be wise to gas up in Reno ("The Big City" to us Villagers:lol: ) first, that was the only gas station in town.

I'll give jeremy and jibs a call when im in reno to see where they're at, its possible we can meet somewhere there.

All right guys, 12 it is. Brians jeading up here at 9 or 10 so he'll be here by 12 at the latest. We'll meet wherever that 7-11 WAS, if its not still there. We have everyone's numbers so lets keep in touch.
