Aftermarket dash kit for 2005 Outback XT?

Featured Replies

Looking for a fit kit to install an aftermarket head unit in my 2005 Outback XT. Crutchfield and Circuit City indicate that no such kits exist, and probably won't. So it'll have to be a custom job. For those who haven't seen these dash's, the environmental controls are on the same plate as the head unit. Looks great, but is a very custom piece of work. On a similar note, if I'm forced to keep the existing head unit, anyone know if if the stock head unit in the 2005 Outback has line level outs (to connect a sub-woofer)? I'm wanting to put an Infinity Basslink in it, and don't want to use the speaker-level signals.

I read somewhere that the later production 05 Outbacks have a split unit that can accomodate your needs. Perhaps contact SOA to discuss.
