Read the posts on this board about cars that were improperly repaired at dealerships, that resulted in more damage that it went in with! I hate to say it, but the majority of the "mechanics" that work at dealerships are just parts-changers. Period. "Training/certification costs" is present in a utopian world only. I woud LOVE to pay the prices charged for a properly trained "mechanic" that has insight beyond a computer output. Here Here!
