Hey anyone! I'm new here. I just got a 1990 Legacy wagon and would like to add an after market stereo. I need to know exactly how to remove the factory deck so that I can get the new one in. Any help much appeciated.

take out the cup holder and ash tray by squeezing a little lever on the top of each. Next undo all the screws, 6 visible, 4 non. There are 2 screws recessed into the workings of the radio, use a magnetic screwdriver so you dont lose the screws, the other 2 hidden ones are where the ash tray came from, you'll need a stubby phillips head for that. don't get discouraged
