Cool pics - I am a little curious about the details behind the belly-up soob - cool pic, I also like the one-tire-hanging off pick too

The belly-up one is the XT in the pic right above it. It had a bad trans, high mileage, would not crank, some minor engine parts were missing and the interior looked like a grenade went off in it. I got it for a parts car and stripped it. After pulling the engine, trans and what few goodies were left inside, I wanted the front and rear suspension, exhaust, gas tank and steering. I planned on junking the remains anyway, so why crawl under it? Yank it over and it's a helluva lot easier to work on.:drunk:

Back in the old dunebuggy days that's how we pulled the torque-tubes and front ends out of bugs. We would role them up on there sides pull the stuff and role them on a trailer and haul them off to the bone yard.
