FlyB0y
I have a '85 brat and I want the best compromise of getting better off-road tire selection w/o making crazy mods and losing the great gas mileage ... I am thinking of using 14" pug wheels and going with the Cooper Discovery STT's they are P205/75 R 14's ... anyone know if these are simply a bolt on or will I have to pound on my fenders? :-\ I don't mind the Idea of pounding in the fender wells too much, just as long as I don't have to cut the outside of the fenders ... I want my brat to remain as stock as possible untill I can afford to Ozify with the 4"/3" lift kit ... Anyone been able to use this tire set-up on a stock gen 2 brat? PS ... also like to know how much this will affect the speedo/tach thx
A DOG
I just heard that they don't make discoverer STT's anymore. So I think your gonna have to find another tire.

FlyB0y
gotta look under "SUV tires" to find the 14's ... but if they are gonna discontinue them soon, maybe I should get 15" pugs hmmmmm here's the link from Cooper for the 14's http://www.coopertire.com/us/en/ProductDetails.asp?ProdType=SUV&id=
chef_tim
The 205/75/15 will NOT fit on an EA82 wagon without a lift or serious cutting. With that being said, I doubt that they will work on an EA81 car without a lift or cutting. If you want to do this project right, save up for the lift first, then start looking for tyre rim combos. The worst that will happen if you do the lift first is that your car will look funny untill you get desent meats on it:lol: . Later, Tim
