i have my whole steering colum from my 87 with all the light controls and whatnot on the column im wondering if i can put that in my 85 and have all the plugins pretty much be plug and play or is it gonna be a major bit of modding to do it

The column itself should work, but all the switches and trim are different. You'll need to swap everything on it.

well the column on my 85 is still in great shape, i had just wanted controls on the steering column, but since apparently it wont fit without swapping a bunch of stuff over i guess its not worth it, especially since the rest of the 87 is probably getting turned into a washer dryer combo lol, well i guess time to take it to the marketplace
