March 25, 200521 yr Hi, I own an 87 GL hatchback 4x4 4spd manual 1600cc with only 182k on the odometer Problem Stalls out at stop signs or when ever it pleases will not restart until completely cool... Actions to date: new cap rotor wires etc. new coil ( was showing no spark after the last stall) Where should i go next lol it has been hm about 13 yrs since i made a living working on these cars and i find that my memory is failing (dang must be aging)
March 25, 200521 yr Merlin Welcome to the board. My check mark goes beside the ignition module in the distributor. A boneyard model distributor should be less than 50 George Washingtons. This was the topic of a recent post, a search may turn results. I will also try and find it.
