Well it looks like state farm wants to total my 96 OWB after a 3 mph bumper hit.

So now the question is how safe is it to replace airbags?

I know I can get the bags and sensor for relatively cheap and this is the only thing wrong with the car.

I want to make sure the car will be safe and not have the bags pop while driving or not pop when they need to.

Wear safety glasses and hearing protection if you try it yourself. I would suggest you get a pro for this job and full documentaion (proof) of the repair.
