Hey, I was just wondering if anyone has did any major engine work, or any plans to do so on their 02 wrx. I have some ideas,but nothing til my warranty is up. Iam looking for some big power but safe ideas, so if you have any I would like to hear them.

There are a number of things you can do. anything from a $10 MBC to a multi thousand dollar STi motor swap.

 

Uppie, downpipe, better exhaust, bigger turbo, better IC.. But non of those things count as major engine work..

This site doesn't delve into WRX stuff too much, you might want to head over to NASIOC.com and have a look around.

 

I've installed aftermarket uppipes and downpipes and ECU reflashes on mine. Makes a huge difference in power, imo. :D
