that would work, but the police use the VIN number to enforce those restrictions, so swapping the hood wouldn't get you anything

With this new fancy red turbo hood I put on there was the emissions sticker under there. That's where I learned FHI says to run 25deg BTDC for ignition timing for the EA82t that came in that car. This was off an '88 GL turbo wagon I think.

 

Also has the helpfull vacume diagram.... too bad I dont have that engine =P

And the police will stop you based upon what the car looks like, not what is under the hood!
