i have a 1999 legacy wagon(postal) that has california emissions setup, with 2 converters and 2 o2 sensors. i live in connecticut though and the car has failed the state emissions.

seeing that a new converter will run me @700.00 am i able to install an aftermarket single converter ?

i am worried about the 2 o2 sensors. i am afraid the obd-2 will detect a problem.

does anyone have any input or ideas, if so let me have it!

I have one off a 99 with 50K. They all have dual sensors as far as I know. I parted this car. Let me know if you want it and make a reasonable offer.
