April 15, 200521 yr I did one once, several years ago. The only thing I recall was that you need to be sure to have a puller for the tie-rod ends. Don't use a pickle fork to split them. It will ruin the rubber boots.
April 15, 200521 yr I just swapped out my manual rack for a PS rack. It was easy. The boots on the ends are pretty thick. I used a pickle fork and made it without ripping the boots. If you have a puller that would be the way to go.
April 15, 200521 yr you can use a hammer to whack the side of the ball tie rod end, and tap on the knucle where it goes thru, and a lot of times this will pop it out
