I'm not absolutely sure but i think those marks are only relative. They help to put back things together without altering the camber adjustment. I dont think each mark refers to a precise camber angle.
April 20, 200520 yr I have one of these... http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/TA-61800.html Just measure before removal and then you can put the new strut back in the same place. I last time I did it the alignment shop said it was too close to bother adjusting.
April 21, 200520 yr That tool looks like a good idea, but I would always go a real computer alignment after mounting a strut. Front camber is 0.0 stock, try to add a little negative camber for some more front end grip and hence less understeer. Stock bolts allow up to -0.5 degrees, which is enought to make a big difference. If you are worried about the handling getting "tail happy" try -0.2 degrees.
