Hey the ECS light on my 83 subaru gl comes on after about 10 minutes of driving. It does not affect anything but its annoying. I read out the code that the computer said and it was 24 if my memory serves me right. I looked it up in my manual and it said it was a duty solenoid. Does anyone know what the hell that is. My subaru dealership was baffled and had no idea.

24 isn't listed as a code for 1983 in any of my reference stuff..

 

 

But then again, I don't spend a lot of time playing with the super old stuff
