wolfdog Posted April 30, 2005 Share Posted April 30, 2005 Need someone to look over a vehicle for me. Been corresponding with a fellow in Ludington, Michigan (11+ hours from where I am right now). He's selling an '83 convertible, sounds good though needs work (new top/rear window, some 'very little' rust, and makes a knocking sound in the front end); we've been negotiating price. I'm sitting on the parts car for it here. Could use some pics, and need to know if I'm gonna need a trailer to haul it up here. He doesn't have a digital cam and the only pics he can provide at the moment are ~10y/o. Sooo, willing to cover reasonable expense (gas and lunch money) if you're near the area and can give this one a good looking over for me and provide pics. Would depend on what part of Wisconsin you're in at the moment. Ludington is on the Eastern shore of Lake Michigan; I understand there's car ferry service between Manitowoc, WI, and Ludington. Don't get me wrong, I'll definitely keep you in mind and really appreciate the offer, just mindful of the extra distance for you to travel on your way home.
