I was in the Windsor PnP today, looking for a powersteering belt idler pulley. No joy on that, but there is a sweet and extremely clean '88 EA81 engine/4 speed dual range tranny in a crumpled hatch. (right front crumpled)

 

The engine has only 69,000 on it. Never seen such a clean engine, tranny looked good too. Somebody pulled the clutch cable, and the oil fill tube was taken off, it is still there, and ditto the EGR valve. Otherwise it is complete.

 

Someone needs a new engine or trans, there it is.

 

If anyone happens to have a powersteering belt idler pulley, mine has a destroyed bearing in it. I repacked it with grease for now, and got the bearing number, so I will try to just get the bearing....but if you've got one sitting around that spins freely and quietly, let me take it off your hands!
