Need help with website

Featured Replies

Is anyone interested in sharing ownership and the maintence of "Vintage Subaru" website? I'll pay the costs for the hosting.

Currently, it's on the AOL server @ m2.aol.com/subaru3

I also own Vintagesubaru.com

There is alot of content available, but needs refreshed and updated. I currently don't have the time to manage it effectively alone and lack the updated web skills to make it nice. (Althought, I'm learning)

Help!

Thanks, Todd

Moving it over onto our server and doing a group effort of maintaining it might be best. That way hosting the photos off this site and the webpage being here helps with the bandwidth and speed of the site and duplication doesnt exist.

If Shawn is willing to lend you the space (we have plenty), I'd be more than happy to provide any technical help that I can. We could get your domain name pointed to the server and the current site moved over in less than half an hour if thats something you want to do, then work on updating the site from there.

If your serious about a content-driven site with a lot of updates, you might want to look into a content management system. I've been playing with them on and off for quite awhile, and currently I'm most happy with a open source one called Mambo. A CMS makes adding a page or updating your site practically as easy as posting to this forum, it's really great. If you get a good one like Mambo, the flexibility will make you quite a happy camper.
