Can anyone tell me anything about the 5sp in it, this one 5th gone, looking to changeout, wondering if subies are still subies, interchangeable

I believe the RS's have hydraulic clutches, if so, then you will need to get a tranyy from a Subaru with a hydraulic clutch. These trannies used a pull type clutch instead of the push type found on cable clutch cars. There are also several tricks you'll need to know about removing and installing these trannies.
