A friend of mine hase a cherry 82 wagon. It pops out of 4 low when you put it into reverse. Any help would be great. Thax

your linkage is binding up and forcing it out of 4 low (underneath the shift boot, not under the car) you could bend the linkage enough to make it stop doing this.. or, once in reverse, pull the lever back up for low range...

My hatch does this, as did my last wagon. I always thought it was normal. Guess I learned something new today, thanks Austin. :grin:
