I have blown out both of my struts and broken both strut tops on my hatchback. I am ordering a 4 inch lift kit soon and I am wondering if I should get OEM Subaru parts (adjustable struts) or some aftermarket KYB (non adjustable struts)? What would be better with the lift? Also does anyone have expirience with the KYB strut mounts? I want something that is pretty durable? I got this subie with 228000 miles on it so there is no wonder why the struts didn't last. I am pretty sure the struts were blown when I got the car and thats probably why the mounts were destroyed soon after the off roading began. A couple times up and down the wash, over a few hills, 3 or 4 lauches in the air, lots of sliding sideways and that was pretty much it..... Any advice on some durable components?
